Making Contributions
You can be remembered as someone who "made a difference" in the Rancho Bernardo community. Decades from now your name can be remembered as one whose gift today will continue to meet tomorrow's needs.
Contribute To an Existing Fund
You may make a contribution of any amount simply by writing a check to The San Diego Foundation and the Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation. If intended for general charitable needs of the community, it will be placed in our endowment or non-endowment funds - or you may designate your gift for one of the following existing funds:
- RB EMERGENCY RESERVE FUND - A reserve fund to be made available in th event of an earthquake or other community disaster affecting Rancho Bernardo for supplies, equipment and food.
- RB SYMPHONY ON THE GREEN FUND - To support music and musical programs and projects in the Rancho Bernardo area.
- RB SMITH SCHOLARSHIP FUND - Open to graduating high school seniors from Rancho Bernardo who will attend an accredited, public four-year university in the state of California. Special consideration will be given to applicants who have lost one or both parents while in high school.
Create your own fund
With your gift of $50,000 or more you may create a fund in your name or the name of a designee and select its purpose in accordance with your personal wishes.
Planned Gifts
There are a number of ways to contribute funds to the Foundation by planning today for a later distribution of assets. A representative of the Foundation will be happy to consult with you and your attorney to recommend a plan that might carry out your wishes and promote maximum financial and tax benefits to you and your family.
A representative of The San Diego Foundation will be pleased to discuss with you any gift you may consider. Call Heather Dugdale at (858) 385-1595 or email heather@sdfoundation.org for more information.
