John Goodrich

John GoodrichJohn Goodrich has been a home owner in Rancho Bernardo since 1998. However,
John and his family lived overseas 30 years before taking up residence in their home.
In mid 2005 the Goodrich family crossed the Pacific and joined the community of Rancho Bernardo.

John has had a successful career in the brokerage industry retiring as a Vice President, Senior Wealth Investment Advisor with Merrill Lynch in 2005. During his time overseas, John was heavily involved with the Rotary Club of Northern Guam and served as Past President, Assistant District Governor and on the Rotary board for eight years. During those years, John was active with the Soap Box Derby project, the annual Military Christmas Drop and Typhoon Relief projects. John has lovingly served the Rotary for over 20 years.

Since relocating to the mainland, John started his own firm, the Goodrich Financial Group, LLC where John is principal owner and managing director. The Goodrich Financial Group is a financial planning, retirement and asset management company. John is an independent registered investment advisor, and is a Certified Financial Planner™, a Chartered Financial Consultant and holds a series of securities related licenses. John has also been appointed by the NASD as a securities arbitrator. John is also a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of San Diego and holds an MBA in finance and economics.

John enjoys the RB community and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo, is a member of the Spirit of the Fourth organization, and a member of the Rancho Bernardo Business Association. Additionally, John sits as board member and managing officer of the SoCal Dictionary Project whose mission is to provide free dictionaries to all third grade students.

John resides with his wife Deborah, and son John, in Rancho Bernardo.
